Maximize Your Summer at Our National Parks

It’s warming up, gas prices are down, so this summer is the perfect time to explore our National Parks. From Acadia to Zion, all 400 are built for adventure.  Go. Bike, fish, paddle, climb, camp, hike. Visit one nearby for a quick weekend, or load up and make an endless summer road trip of it.

Love the water? Try sea kayaking around Acadia’s Mount Desert Island. Spectacular scenery and options for all skill levels make it an awesome destination. Just pile up the boats and go. The JayLow makes loading and going a breeze.

Acadia

Pedal pusher? Rack up the bikes and head for Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Set up basecamp in the park and take a leisurely ride along Cades Cove. The roads in the area offer some spectacular tours, and if you’re seeking some serious single-track there are tons of outstanding trails nearby. With two, four, and five bike options, the RidgeBack lets you bring your entire quiver  – or take all of the family bikes.

Zion

Family camping? Make a road trip out of it  – visit one or bunch of our National Parks and camp with the family. Explore giant redwoods, great sand dunes, and the grandest canyons. Pile the tents, sleeping bags, and bags of marshmallows into a RocketBox 14. It’s like adding an extra trunk to the top of your car – that means more room inside for family and fido.

We at Yakima are proud to support our National Parks and to be a part of this year’s Centennial Celebration. We encourage you to get out there and take advantage of each and every one of them – Acadia to Zion.
