MEET 'N GREET
As YogaSlackers, we are lovers of movement. Limitations are a foreign concept to us as a teaching duo, and we spend our time traveling the world and fulfilling our dreams of being true modern-day nomads. Whether it’s driving coast-to-coast, or hopping on an airplane to travel overseas, the motivation is usually the same: bringing our passion for teaching to students all over the world.
Favorite Place in the Wild
Sam: Driving to Newfoundland and Alaska… Plus one day trip to Antarctica
Raquel: Grand Canyon… and watching the northern lights several nights in a road in Alaska
One of the hacks we use the most, on a daily basis, is attaching a water bladder to the back of the driver seat. This allow us to have access to drinking water at all times, increasing the probability that we will actually drink water! After a while we added a carbon filter to the bladder. This makes gas station and other random water taste wonderful.
Sam: 1951 M37 Dodge Power Wagon
Raquel: 1990 Mitsubishi Montero
Go-to road trip snack
Sam: Chips and Ice cream
Raquel: Blackberries with Peanut Butter
Sam: Wild Cat
Raquel: Jelly fish
If you could stand in someone else's shoes...
Raquel: the Dalai Lama… I always want to improve my meditation practice… more than anything my dedication to the practice. I think experiencing the mind and thoughts of the Dalai Lama might help me stay in track. If that doesn’t work… then Kilian Jornet and maybe then, I would never stop running.
Sam: The President… so I can actually understand what’s going on.

Raquel: I’m really good with spreadsheets. 🙂
Sam: I don’t think so… While I would say, mine is learning mechanic work from YouTube.
